Country:  Native to Asia.  Originally from Asia Minor.

Scent:    With a warm, soothing vanilla scent.

Uses:   Benzoin oil is known for it therapeutic effects as well as its aroma.  Used in incense since ancient times, this oil originally from Asia Minor is also reputed to have a balancing effect on the nervous system, which promotes both calming and energizing simultaneously. 

Blends well with: bergamot, coriander, frankincense, juniper, lavender, lemon, myrrh, orange, patchouli, rose.

Cautions:  Dilute well if applying to the skin.  May be a skin irritant.  Harmful if swallowed, keep away from children.
