Clary Sage Essential Oil

Clary Sage   ( salvia scarlea )  15ml

Country:  Russia/France  Native to Europe

Scent:  Woody green herbaceous and pleasant conifer odor that is mildy intoxicating.

Source:  flowering tops

Uses:  Dilute and gargle for sore throat, lifts depression and soothes PMS and emotional distress.  It is mildly intoxicating and can create a sense of euphoria.  This oil contains a compound not unlike estrogen that is helpful with regulating oily skin, mitigating PMS and menstrual cramps, soothing the nerves and encouraging rest.

Other properties:  Anticoagulant, Antioxidant, Anti-diabetic, Estrogen-like, Anti fungal, Antispasmodic, Relaxing Agent, Cholesterol-reducer, Antitumerol, Anesthetic.

Blends well with Essential Oils:  Cedarwood, Citrus OIls, Lavender

Cautions:  Emmenogogue,  Estrogen like qualities. Not for use during pregnancy. Do not ingest, keep away from children. Avoid using when driving or drinking alcohol as Clary Sage is known to make one drowsy.
