Wintergreen Essential Oil

Wintergreen  (Gaultheria procumbens)  15ml

Family:  Ericaceae 

Country: Imported from India.  Also native to North America.

Scent:  Similar to Birch, woody and wintergreen.  (distinct difference between the pure EO and the synthetic forms).

Source:  leaves

Uses:  Invigorates the mind and uplifts the spirit.  Anti-spasmodic, Anti-inflammatory,   Indicated for rheumatism, arthritis and any muscular ache or pain. *Synthetic used for flavor in gums, candies, soft drinks and medicinal preparations, especially those for the teeth and muscles..

Blends well with:  pine, peppermint, lemon

Cautions:  Can be considered toxic, irritating, and sensitizing as well as a hazard to the environment and a pollutant to marine life.  DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY.  IF SWALLOWED CONTACT POISON CONTROL CENTER IMMEDIATELY.  Do not use if taking aspirin or are allergic to aspirin.
